Our Air Duct Cleaning Process:
First, we apply our broad spectrum mold & virus killer to your HVAC blower to coat the air ducts flowing into your home. The plenum (the box or air chamber near the HVAC) is also fogged or sprayed, along with the coils. This procedure covers one half of the air system to kill mold and viruses in as little as five minutes.
Next, we will use a HEPA vacuum on all vents, both intake and outflow vents. Collecting dead mold that has accumulated on these surfaces will improve the healthy look of the home and remove contaminants. We will use terrycloth hand towels with 100% strength broad spectrum mold/virus killing solution to wipe down vents.
Thirdly, we follow up by fogging each of the return vents to ensure the ducts returning to your HVAC unit is also decontaminated and coated with mold retarding product.
We clean each individual component separately! We go through each air duct vent, and each air duct return, ensuring we leave behind a shield against new mold growth for the coming year.
If you have asked us to clean your dryer vent we disconnect the duct behind the dryer, and remove lint clogs inside the roof “J” hood vent, down to the back of the dryer, using 4” circular brushes, vacuum out the back of the dryer, lint trap, floor, and walls around the dryer. Then we turn on the dryer and measure air flow. This is followed by reconnecting dryer and duct, replacing the dryer to its original position, and put a level on the dryer to check for levelness as an unleveled dryer will wear out bearings sooner. The last thing we do in this procedure is revisit the roof vent to recheck airflow.
Once finished, we clean up and provide you with an invoice.
